You are responsible for the sustainable development of our unique research infrastructure, which includes a clean room, a MOCVD machine hall and a comprehensive laboratory landscape on the latest state of the art. Sustainable infrastructure development: You actively shape the future of our research and building infrastructure and drive their continuous improvement. Investment planning: You are responsible for the investment planning of the institute and, depending on the experience, also for strategic customer relationships. Strategic development: You bear the disciplinary responsibility for the department of technical services, information technology and quality management with a total of approx. 20 employees and ensure their strategic development. Consultancy and cooperation: With your expertise, you support and advise the institute management and actively contribute to the strategic orientation of the institute. You are also a valuable member of the Institute Management Committee.

Academic background: You have a completed scientific or technical university degree (Diplom/Master), for example in physics, electrical engineering or a comparable subject, ideally with doctorate. Management practice: You bring many years of experience in a leading position, preferably in the research or building infrastructure. Entrepreneurship: You are familiar with the processing of public contracts and are able to think and act economically. Communication security: You convince with pronounced communication and team skills and understand how to find sustainable solutions even in challenging situations with enforcing power and fingertip feeling. Your knowledge of German and English in a reliable manner allows you to communicate clearly and precisely with internal and external stakeholders.
