You create concepts for electrical components (e.g. headlights, control units, operating elements) in close coordination with the component managers You tune integration concepts of electrical components with chassis and cabin design to meet the electrical requirements You take the responsibility and control of internal and external employees in creating detailed concepts You secure the data quality of supplier data You secure the integration of the components by installation tests You support the technical documentation of electrical components and the production of specifications You take responsibility for the assignment of external development services and the creation of mechanical prototypes of the component concepts

You have basic knowledge of CAD design with CATIA V5-6, ideally for plastic parts You have basic knowledge of electrical engineering or are willing to train yourself You understand relationships quickly and understand new insights into your ideas You are communicative and like to work in the team You recognize challenges independently and work proactively on solutions You have practical skills and perform simple mechanical tasks yourself You can explain complex relationships and successfully delegate tasks You have very good English skills for international cooperation
