Test implementation & quality assurance: You plan, perform and document software, system and end-to-end tests including regression, integration and perspective automated testing. Check system landscapes: You test the interplay of Smart Meter Gateway, counters, control boxes and backend systems and ensure a stable interaction of complex smart meter infrastructures. Test Design & Standards: You develop test cases, scenarios and plans based on technical requirements and energy-economic specifications and help us develop our quality and test strategies. Analyze communication & interfaces: You check logs and data paths (LMN, HAN, WAN) as well as interfaces and formats such as XML and evaluate their quality, stability and conformity. Bug Tracking: You identify, analyze and reproduce software and communication errors and accompany them in a structured bug tracking to the final solution. Result transfer & further development: You work closely with development, product owners and specialist areas and actively contributes test results to product optimization.

Completion: You have completed training with additional qualification or completed studies in computer science, electrical/message technology, communications technology.

Testing experience: You have experience in software testing or quality assurance ideally in technical or system-related environments. Experiences in test automation (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and programming skills (e.g. Python, Java, C++) are desirable.

Tools & methods: You know test methods as well as tools such as Jira or TestRail and work structured, comprehensible and quality-conscious.

System understanding: You bring a good technical understanding of complex system landscapes, desirable already in the environment of smart meter infrastructures.

Protocols & Standards: Knowledge in Communication Protocols (LMN/HAN/WAN), XML and first touch points with COSEM/OBIS, LwM2M or APN configuration are a plus.

Basic knowledge in IT Security, Certificates and PKI is a plus.

Cooperation and communication: You like to work in the team, take active action and bring you targeted communication and very good German skills.
