IT Application Manager (m/w/d)

in the vicinity of the campus management system. The location is assigned to the department 6 – Campus IT. Employment in parttime is possible in principle.

The Bochum University brings together two existing campus management systems (HISinONE). We are looking for you to support the existing project team and to support the existing systems. HISinOne System Application Support Professional administration of HISinOne modules Project management in the introduction of new tools Administration, development, testing and customizing the portal Self-responsible analysis and sustainable improvement of complex, cross-system disturbances Implementation of legal requirements for the digitization of administrative processes in the field of student and audit management Advice from users as well as managers to technically demanding IT questions Consulting, training and support for users

Complete university studies in the fields of computer science, technology or natural science Extensive proven relevant experiences Good knowledge of current web technologies (e.g. SQL, Javascript, XML, CSS)

Knowledge and experience in the following areas are desirable: Ability to abstract and mathematical-analytical thinking Willingness to work into complex relationships Willingness to work into the structure and processes of a university Contact and team skills Good knowledge of the MS Office package
