System Engineer (m/f/d)

Working with our international sales teams, you analyze customer requirements and translate them into technical specifications. You analyse alerts and support the product selection or selection of system solutions that meet all requirements You accompany the sales team at customer appointments as a technical or system expert, if necessary You create technical offers and feasibility analyses and ensure compliance with standards in line with customer expectations You support the development of cost-effective and competitive system designs in compliance with quality standards You support the sales team with technical knowledge and guidance You work with cross-functional teams, including project managers, product managers, R&E and production to promote smooth project implementation

Preferred bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, system engineering or another related education proven experience in system design and implementation, preferably in lighting automation or related industries Experience with light control systems, IoT integration and relevant communication protocols (e.g. DALI, KNX or similar) Strong problem solving capabilities and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Excellent communication skills in German and English Ability to cope with multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of international standards related to lighting systems (e.g. MIL-STD, DEF-STAN, BV, STANAG, IEC EN, DNV and similar) Strong focus on customer needs and customized solutions. Proactive attitude and ability to adapt to changing project requirements Required skills: Experience with NATO procurement procedures (RFQ, IFB, RFP) and European defence procurement programmes Knowledge about Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Confidence with export control regulations, VS-NfD regulations and NATO security regulations
