Transport Planning Engineer - Traffic Forecasts / Conceptual Planning (m/f/d)

You develop forward-looking transport and mobility concepts for urban and regional spaces and create sound location views as an important basis for decision-making. With the help of GIS and planning software, you model traffic networks, create precise traffic forecasts and derive recommendations for sustainable infrastructure. You plan and accompany traffic surveys and analyse the data obtained to provide the basis for your network conceptual planning. Work in close cooperation with urban planners, civil engineers and contractors You are concrete proposals for advanced road planning projects. You take over the independent processing of project sections – from the first analysis, conceptual planning to the presentation of your results.

You have successfully completed your studies in the field of transport, civil engineering or economic engineering, geography, urban planning or a comparable field of expertise. You have been able to gain at least one year of professional experience in transport planning and are familiar with the relevant regulations and guidelines. You work safely with common traffic modeling tools and are familiar with GIS applications. Their analytical and structured working methods help you to penetrate complex interpersonal relationships and develop innovative solutions. Very good German knowledge (C1 level) in word and writing as well as a class B driving licence complete your profile.
