Head of Industrial Engineering & Plant Development (m/f/d)

Strategy & Transformation: You are responsible for the development and implementation of a future-oriented value-added strategy (Layout, Technologies, Capacity) and run projects for the automation, digitization and scaling of the value-added chain. Industrial Engineering & Operational Excellence: You optimize manufacturing processes with regard to OEE, quality and throughput times, answer the work preparation and production control area and ensure the establishment and further development of Lean methods (e.g. CVP, Shopfloor Management, Value Stream Design). Industrialization & Investment: You ensure the efficient transfer of products into series production (DfM/DfA), act as drivers and translators of innovations, are responsible for the planning, procurement and commissioning of machines and plants (including economic considerations), perform make-or-buy analyses and assist in costing. Process and interface management: You control cross-departmental projects to increase efficiency (e.g. JIT/JIS, Intralogistics), optimize production processes according to lean and pull principles and work closely with the fields of development, production and sales. Guided tour & control: You guide the fields of industrial engineering, work development, work preparation and production control professionally and disciplinefully, develop the employees and control KPIs and budgets.

Training: Successfully completed engineering studies (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production technology, wood technology) or comparable qualification Experience: Multiannual professional and leadership experience in a manufacturing industrial company, ideally in the woodworking industry (office furniture or furniture construction) Methodology: Funded knowledge in lean production, automation technology and factory planning, safe handling of ERP systems (e.g. SAP R/3), MES systems and MS Office Track Record: Detectable successes in managing complex projects and transformation processes Skills: High-communication leadership with high social competence and enforcing ability, strong analytical skills and numerical understanding, strategic thinking combined with strong hands-on mentality and entrepreneurial thinking and acting Languages: German and English knowledge in word and writing.
