The SOS Children's Village Bremen is currently active in more than 20 locations for children, young people and families. In addition to outpatient support for education, caring for housing and in-house care, our portfolio includes school-related projects as well as open community work.

For our SOS Children's Village Bremen we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in permanent employment, part-time (30 hours/day)

The team of flexible help supports young people aged 16 to 21, who need intensive care and advice. The pedagogical team of eight employees accompanies the stabilization and learning of an independent and self-determined lifestyle. The young people are given rooms for their own experiences and professional accompaniment in their self- and foreign perception. In individual and tandem work, low-swelling and resource-oriented strategies are developed with young people so that a transition to self-employment can be achieved. Since this is an outpatient measure, there are no night or weekend services. If you are happy to develop solution-oriented ways of developing and everyday problems together with young people, we look forward to your application! You provide help to young people, even in crisis situations. You actively participate in help planning and create development reports. You shall inform the documentation of development from the educational point of view. You support young people in the context of intensive individual social education (ISE) according to §§ 35, 35a, 41 SGB VIII. You are aware of the conscientious implementation of child and care protection.

You have a degree as a social workerin or social educationin. You bring professional experience in the field of stationary and/or outpatient child and youth assistance. Young people, young adults and their parents meet with an appreciation and participation-oriented attitude with a good view for resources. You estimate a flexible, timely self-organized and methodically independent activity. You will appreciate the professional exchange in an eighth team with team meetings, expert advice and supervision and enrich it through openness and solution orientation. Your handling of proximity and distance to the representatives is professional.
