About the area Structure and Appointments The area of structure and vocations accompanies all vocation procedures for the occupation of professorships from the strategic preparations and clarification of structural and financing issues through the academic selection process to the coordination of vocation negotiations. In addition, the area actively contributes to the creation of offers for equipment and remuneration for newly appointed professors and supports onboarding, in particular for international applicants. In addition, different evaluations of professorships are supervised. Own-sponsored and independent participation in appeal procedures in the re-establishment or re-establishment of professorships (mainly W1 and W2) in clinics and institutes, for example in the context of the Excellence Strategy Committee work, in particular support of appointment and evaluation committees incl. Preparing and participating in meetings with protocol and file management Coordination of funding applications for professorships, for example through foundations and regular evaluation of the teaching and research performance of individual departments or Professorships Interface to other business areas in Faculty, University Hospital and University Support and development of digital tools and collaboration on projects to further develop the evaluation processes of professorships and vocation management (e.g. active recruitment, quality assurance, monitoring)
