Tasks As a central team for the application of AI in the technical field of IONOS, we implement data-driven proof of concepts and projects on our open source big data platform for our business partners. To support this project, we are looking for you as an active support in data engineering. Your tasks include: You work with data from different business areas of the company . You support our data scientists in the implementation and evaluation of AI and ML projects by implementing ETL jobs with Apache Nifi and developing our Trino data platform. You use the free space you offer for your own creative ideas to develop new solutions and approaches for data processing and to raise our data platform to a new level. Qualifications You're ideally still studying min. 1-2 years of computer science, business informatics, a natural science or engineering science with strong reference to IT and have an interest in a study-related activity where you can gain and deepen practical experience. Our experienced data scientists and software engineers naturally support you in your tasks. The following knowledge or skills are added: Knowledge of how to use databases and SQL. Basics in a programming language e.g. Python, R, Go, Java etc. Structured, independent mode of operation. Basics in dealing with Linux and Shell scripts. Current knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
