The clinic is located in the centre of Berlin (5 minutes from Alexanderplatz), located in the wonderful Volkspark Friedrichshain, which connects the attractive districts of Pankow, Mitte, Lichtenberg and Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. The Klinik für Kinder- und Jugendmedizin is one of the largest urban children's and youth clinics in Berlin and has a large level 1 perinatal centre and a well-established children's rescue centre for the emergency care of Berlin children and young people.

Station 47 The station is a general paediatric station in one of our new buildings of the Klinikum in Friedrichshains with attached child rescue center. Close, interdisciplinary cooperation is essential for the care of patients. Station 47 offers the entire spectrum of general paediatrics with a focus on infectiology, surgery, rheumatology and gastroenterology.

Children's Rescue Centre Employees in the Children's Rescue Centre are proactively interacting with a short-term approach to the emergency, have their own competence to carry out the MTS (digital exploration), complete the first and emergency care closely coordinated with other professional groups and take over assistance in diagnostic and therapeutic interventions in our state-of-the-art treatment rooms.

Station 91 The station at the Perinatal Center of the Klinikum in Friedrichshain is a neonatological intensive therapy station and comprises 17 beds for the supply of early-borns (Level 1 Center), newly-borns and interdisciplinary, intensive-therapeutic paediatric patients. The focus of the nursing work is the development-promoting care of the children entrusted to us, as well as the promotion of the parent-child relationship and the strengthening of parental competence. After intensive stay, our patients reach the neonatological and paediatric aftercare station with extensive therapeutic principles. Our perinatal center adapts to the growing demands of society and is therefore completely open to innovations.

Station 46 The station is a modern parent-child station (care unit) for too early and pure-born children with IMC character. Our 20 patients are monitored via central monitoring, as our patient clasp may be must also be accompanied by breathing, supporting therapy.

Stations 46 and 91 are based on an all-encompassing care (case management, social workers), possibly also prepartally, the aim of disposing the patients/patients as completely as possible of breast milk.
