for our new intensive-edagogical children and youth group.

From summer 2026, up to two children and adolescents (ages 6 to 18 years old) our new home offer offers a home that cannot be (more) supervised in residential groups of SGB VIII. The children and young people who are considered to be non-groupable should be intensively accompanied in an individual care setting to stabilize and protect themselves and to protect others. Children and adolescents, for example, show dangerous behaviour towards themselves or their environment by precarious socialisation backgrounds and biographies that are burdened by risk factors. Young people escape fundamentally from the help system. In principle, there can be a loss of confidence in the youth welfare system and a greatly reduced participation.

The aim of the pedagogical work is to establish a new relationship and to achieve trusted bonds. The young people receive the time they need to regain confidence. The pedagogical professionals are very reliable, comprehensible and structured across the staff.

The small group of dwellings covers a housing unit with five premises in the Schönefeld district.

The services in the offer of residence are provided within the framework of §§34, 35a i.V. m. 41 SGB VIII.

What your tasks are:

• Through your sensitive support of the children and young people entrusted to us, you ensure that they feel secure and at home.
• They have knowledge of the prevention of violence and/or continue to develop within the shortest possible deescalation management according to ProDeMa.
• They are highly sensitive to the needs of children and act reliably as well as comprehensible educational.
• They communicate non-violently and implement agreements reliably and clearly.
• Even if the children and young people need help, confirm them to live as independent as possible.
• To do this, you will determine the support needs, develop individual funding plans and perform individual and group offers.
• They structure the daily routine together with children and adolescents, plan and accompany leisure and promotion offers, taking into account individual religious and cultural features.
• They conduct first and anamnese talks, on request with the support of our psychological specialist service.
• They accompany and support the children and young people towards people and authorities, for example in the preparation of applications, subject reports and opinions in word and writing.
• As part of your tasks, you will communicate and cooperate with our team, doctors, therapists, institutions involved in the help, and relatives and caregivers.
• You document your activity professionally, expressively and in detail.
• They participate in case meetings, supervisions, consultations, team consultations and internal training.
• They develop socio-pedagogical concepts and guide work and project groups on different technical topics.

What you should bring:

• A degree as a state-recognized social pedagogue/recognized social pedagogue or as a state-recognized social worker/recognized social worker.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, in particular SGB VIII §§ 8a, 34, 35a i. V. m. 41 SGB VIII.
• Embossed social competence and communication skills, which allows you to work anew daily in the field of tension between empathy and boundary, proximity and distance, understanding and perseverance.
