IT/OT Architect Production Systems (m/f/d)

Develop the production architectures of the future: you develop IT/OT target architectures for customers in the manufacturing and process industries and create the basis for resilient, safe and sustainable production environments. Architecture work at the interface of OT, IT and Security: You design holistic architectures that combine production systems such as PLC, MES, SCADA, historians or leadership with modern IT solutions such as cloud, edge, IoT and data platforms – focusing on integration capability, scalability, wartability and security. Anchored security-by-design in production: Take into account security-by-design in architectural work and translate OT Security requirements into sustainable concepts – e.g. for segmentation, secure connection of systems or remote access. Continue developing architecture for production: You are implementing technical and technical requirements in coordinated target images and architectural concepts for production IT. In doing so, you will ensure that local production solutions, location architectures and cross-company architectures are consistent. Design data and integration architectures: You structure production data along technical and technical requirements and develop robust data and integration architectures – from the machine to shopfloor systems to analytical and business-oriented platforms. Evaluate technologies and standards: You evaluierst frameworks, platforms, methods and architectural approaches for use in production environments and help develop existing solutions technologically and methodically.

DEIN PROFIL You have a degree in computer science, automation technology, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, process engineering or a comparable qualification. Architecture experience in industrial production environments: You have several years of experience in the development and implementation of IT, OT or integration architectures – ideally in the manufacturing or process industry (e.g. machine and plant engineering, automotive, medical technology, pharmaceutical, chemistry) – and know the peculiarities of near-famous systems such as SPS, MES, SCADA, DCS, historian, BDE/MDE or production networks. Strong IT/OT competence: You understand the requirements of OT environments as well as modern IT architectures and connect both worlds technologically, organizationally and architecturally. Industry 4.0, integration and cloud expertise: You have experience with technologies and standards related to IIoT, Edge, APIs, Containerization, Data Platforms as well as hybrid cloud architectures on Azure, AWS or Google Cloud in an industrial context. OT Security and structured architecture work are a plus: you have first touch points with security requirements in production environments (e.g. segmentation, secure attachment, remote access, IEC 62443) and ideally with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF – or want to develop in this direction. KI competence: You have in-depth AI expertise, actively shape their responsible commitment in your area of responsibility and act as an enabler for customers and internally at adesso. Language knowledge: Very good German and good English skills
