This role In this role, as a senior account manager, you actively shape the growth of QIAGEN in the Munich area. You take full responsibility for expanding a strategically relevant customer portfolio in the field of molecular diagnostics and life sciences and act as an entrepreneurial driver for new business and sustainable revenue development. With your strong graduate strength, your sense of market and customer potential, as well as your solution-oriented sales approach, you contribute to the market position of QIAGEN. You consistently translate sales strategies into concrete measures, actively control your pipeline and consistently leverage opportunities to realize growth. Your tasks Independently responsible development, control and expansion of a profitable customer portfolio in the field of molecular diagnostics and life sciences in the Munich area
Active sales focus: identification of cross- and upselling potentials, as well as consistent opportunity and pipeline management
Responsibility for sales, forecast and achievement in the sales area with a clear focus on completion and sustainable growth
Identification of new customer business and independent management of your Sales Funnel: from lead qualification to completion
Implementation of sales strategies in concrete actions and measurable results with clear ownership
Close, proactive cooperation with marketing, product management and application specialists to maximize joint sales success
Control your sales activities along clear processes – including structured planning, documentation and tracking in the CRM environment
Your profile Multiannual, demonstrably successful sales experience in the Life‐Science, Diagnostics, MedTech or comparable MINT environment – regardless of the formal conclusion ́
Embossed final strength, high self-motivation and clear result orientation
Experience in the sale of complex, expressive solutions and in dealing with different customers and stakeholders
Experience with CRM tools and processes, as well as the common office software, first experiences with AI are a plus
Very good understanding of sales processes, pipeline management and forecasting as well as the ability to consistently implement strategies in actions
Structured operation, excellent time and self-management as well as continuous improvement and growth
Secure, convincing appearance, excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English
High readiness for travel in the sales area and pleasure in independent work
