Tool developer for cutting tools (m/f/d)

Responsibility for the initiation and control of tool development projects Optimization of costs, timekeeping and quality with coordination of series transfer Development and design of cutting tools for use in dental milling and grinding units and large-format CNC machining machines Creation of CAD models and derivation of production drawings to semi-finished and finished products Developing prototype tests in cross-departmental cooperation to validate development results Creation of measurements on roughness, shape position tolerances, cutting edge geometry, defect & wear and coating analyses by means of optical 3D measuring device Continuous development of the organisation for defining and documenting development inputs and results Close cooperation and exchange with product and innovation & development

Successfully completed study of mechanical engineering, technical physics or a similar field In-depth experience in machining and manufacturing technology, e.g. as a tool designer or process developer Knowledge with CAD programs, preferably CATIA V5 Material knowledge of metal alloys, ceramics and coatings Self-employed, structured working and team skills Good English knowledge of word and writing
