Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

As a system engineer for (semi-) autonomous underwater vehicles (m/w/d), you are responsible for the design of system concepts and architectures of underwater vehicles. One of your main tasks is the advice and assessment of safety-related requirements in product development or project execution in a multi-project environment. Make sure that the products to be developed meet current safety design requirements. The creation of FMEAs, FMECAs and FTAs is also part of your task. In addition, the professional and process control in the team is part of your field of activity. The moderation of discussions with industrial development partners and the contracting authority or internal departments round off your area of responsibility.

You have completed your studies in the field of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Mechatronics or a comparable course of study. You have already been able to gain several years of professional experience in a comparable position. You bring experience in the design of complex systems. Ideally, you have experience in the application of System Safety requirements (ISO 61508 and MIL-STD882). You have knowledge of security-oriented hardware development and component selection. Finding knowledge and practical experience in the field of Systems Requirements Engineering, especially in DOORS and/or Magic Draw, will help you. You use your experience to take a controlling role in the team and make clear and structured decisions in all situations. Communication skills, self-initiative and an independent way of working are of course for you. You enjoy occasional missions (national, possibly international).
