Engineer for Infrastructure Management in the Port of Hamburg

Our 10-person team ensures that the public infrastructure on the ground will remain an important component for the success of the Port of Hamburg in the future. For this purpose, we perform the owner and demand carrier tasks of the public infrastructure. These include roads and roads, road bridges, movable bridges, locks and locks and public flood protection in the port area. Your focus is on walking and cycling paths, drainage systems, public lighting and light signalling systems.

In your role, you are responsible for building projects and for operating and investment budgets. You control the controlling, set up bills and actively participate in economic planning. You develop sustainable strategies for the maintenance and renewal of our infrastructure – from the first demand analysis to the successful implementation. You tax the financing of your projects and negotiate financing agreements with internal and external partners. You support the development of a uniform conservation management system and contribute your expertise to further development. You represent your topics as well as the interests of HPA towards politics, administration, citizens and other stakeholders – clear, sovereign and addressable. In order for our infrastructure to remain efficient in the long term, you develop quality standards and define relevant key figures for evaluation and control.

You have studied engineering (Master/Diplom) - e.g. industrial engineering, civil engineering or a comparable discipline. Alternatively, you have an equivalent training with resilient knowledge and experience In addition, you have experience in the renewal and maintenance of construction equipment (e.g. from the activities in road and road construction, drainage, bridge construction, mechanical engineering, etc.). Your knowledge of the applicable legal bases in building and conservation law as well as in terms of standards (DIN), accident prevention regulations, VOB or VOL are very good. You look back on extensive experience in project management. Working with Excel belongs to your working day and you write Your knowledge here is very good.
