Junior Portfoliomanager (m/f/d)

These are your tasks You support the management and ongoing support of our investments in the private sector and in special funds. In the direct investment you are involved in the analysis, selection and monitoring of pension investments in government bonds, corporate bonds, covered bonds, debt certificates and name papers. You accompany the entire investment process through market and issuer analysis, the preparation of investment decisions and trade up to settlement, documentation and ongoing monitoring of investment. In the field of liquid and illiquid assets, you support the supervision and administration of our special funds and maintain contacts with external asset managers. With the help of a front-office software, you analyze portfolio developments, performance, risks, runtimes, ratings, sensitivity and other key figures. You contribute to liquidity planning, asset liability management and scenario analysis and strategic development of the portfolio. Together with experienced colleagues, you prepare investment decisions, forum documents and reports for internal decision-makers. You coordinate operational topics with KVGen, depositaries, banks, asset managers and other external partners. You support the further development of our investment processes as well as data analyses and introduce their own ideas for digitalization and automation.

With this profile you fit well with us You have a successfully completed study of economics, economic mathematics, financial mathematics or a comparable course of business related to financial markets and investment. You are at the start of your professional career or have already gained first practical experience, such as insurance, pension funds, bank, KVG, consulting company or an asset manager. You are interested in the entire institutional investment and want to deal with both liquid and illiquid asset classes. Ideally, you have already acquired first knowledge in securities analysis, portfolio theory, accounting, regulation or asset liability management. You have a pronounced analytical way of thinking, work carefully and can prepare complex facts structured. You are safe in handling Microsoft Excel. First experiences with data analysis, Bloomberg, Power BI, Python, SQL or similar applications are of advantage. You like to work in the team, take responsibility and have the right to develop professionally and personally continuously. You have very good German skills and can safely edit English-speaking specialist documents.
