EHS Engineer (m/f/d)

Develop, implement and enhance the site's Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) management system in alignment with corporate standards. Monitor new and changing German and European ESH legislation and ensure legal compliance across the site. Translate requirements into practical processes and support departments in implementation compliant solutions. Advise managers and employees on environmental, occupational safety and health topics. Perform environmental and occupational safety officer responsibilities within your area of expertise. Conduct workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards. Provide expert guidance to operational departments by translating legal and regulatory requirements into practical ESH standards and procedures. Collaborate with authorities, external partners and internal stakeholders on compliance and sustainability initiatives. Support ESG initiatives and improve ESH performance across the site.

Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Safety, Environmental Management, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline. At least 5 years of professional experience in Environmental, Health & Safety. You have already worked as an Environmental, Occupational Safety or other appoint appointed ESH Officer and are familiar with taking responsibility for regulatory compliance. Practical experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems. Strong knowledge of environmental and occupational health & safety legislation, including regulations such as: BImSchG, ArbSchG, BetrSichV, GefStoffV. Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or another highly regulated production environment is highly desirable. Understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to assess operational risks in day-to-day production. Strong communication and consulting skills with the ability to explain legal requirements in a practical and understandable way. Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working style.
