In the area of Global Cyber Security at Stuttgart-Vaihingen, we offer not only an insight into a wide range of fascinating topics of information security, but also the opportunity to actively participate in the implementation of our risk management approach for the entire IT of Mercedes-Benz. We work with state-of-the-art technologies and contact persons from all disciplines and regions in a global network. Your tasks span a diverse range of risk management, including planning, organisation and active participation in risk management solutions and processes. Here you have the chance not only to introduce your technical expertise, but also to make a direct contribution to the success of our team. In this position you can expect a variety of tasks in the area of risk and chance management. In detail, your activities include: Working with the implementation and further development of a standardized risk management process for the IT sector Development of risk management tools Cooperation in the development and implementation of an innovative risk management tool that enables efficient detection, assessment and monitoring of risks Transfer of risks to new technological platforms Active participation in the adaptation and transfer of existing risks to new technological platforms to ensure that risk management meets current technological requirements

Further development of the reporting concept in PowerBI Participation in the development of a meaningful reporting concept to communicate the relevant information about risks and opportunities in a transparent and comprehensible manner

Insight and support in the projects and topics of the IT Risk Management team Get a comprehensive insight into current projects and topics to develop an understanding of the strategic and operational challenges

Updating the IT Risk Management Community page in the internal Intranet These varied tasks offer you the opportunity to gain practical experience in risk and chance management and to actively participate in the further development of this important business function. The activity can start from September 2026.

Studies in Business Informatics, Business Administration or a comparable degree course focusing on risk management, compliance or corporate audit Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing are indispensable Safe handling of MS Office is fundamental. Knowledge in SharePoint and PowerBI are beneficial. Agile Software Development, Jira and Confluence are familiar terms Teamability as well as target and result-oriented working methods Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
