The South-West radio is looking for you Cloud FinOps & GreenOps Expert (w⁠/⁠m⁠/⁠d) for the ARD Cloud Platform

You continuously optimize the cost and environmental balance of the cloud use of the ARD Cloud Platform You develop and implement FinOps and GreenOps strategies as well as processes to ensure efficient resource allocation and sustainable cloud use in the ARD Analyze and monitor cloud outputs as well as CO2 footprint, identify savings and sustainability potentials and implement appropriate measures You work closely with the product and development teams to promote cost and environmental awareness and responsibility Create reports and dashboards to create transparency about cloud costs and environmental impacts and support decision-making processes You advise and train internal teams in FinOps and GreenOps principles to achieve sustainable optimization in costs and energy consumption

You have a degree in business information technology, business management with IT focus, environmental management or a comparable qualification You bring well-founded experience in cloud cost management (FinOps) and sustainable IT usage (GreenOps) and know you with the popular cloud price models and environmental metrics You have analytical skills to understand complex data, both in terms of cost and energy consumption, and to derive recommendations for action You have experiences with FinOps and GreenOps solutions and frameworks, such as Flexera One You have excellent communication skills in German and English to present complex issues – both financial and ecological – clearly and understandably You are a self-motivated personality with the ability to develop innovative solutions both independently and in the team, to reduce costs and environmental impact equally
