Become part of our team – Practice for Logopedia Barbara Pleuger The practice was founded after the first practice in Lünen (1988 – 1992) in 1992 at Kielstraße 10, 44145 Dortmund and increased in 1999, as demand had risen significantly. It is a mixed team of logo practitioners, language and speech healing therapists. These are employees, free employees and a colleague with his own cash register. All logoped disorders are treated, from toddler to high age. House visits are also made here, in clinics, homes or at home. In addition, we value cooperation partners such as e.g. kindergartens, schools, family centres, early schools, hospitals and homes. It is important to us, especially in the case of children's therapy, to involve parents so that You can support the therapy in order to achieve faster success. In therapy, speech disorders are handled playfully, as the child can only be reached through the game and thus learn. Children should have fun and enjoy talking, stay or find it again. In addition, information about the reading and play materials is given so that the therapy is “supported” again in the parent’s house. It is important to us that a relationship of trust is established between therapist, patient and their relatives. We see the therapy not as a one-way street, but as an exchange and interplay. The human being is completely seen with us and then treated individually. Therefore, the human being is at the centre of attention and it is not (only) symptom-oriented.
