You'll earn the IHK degree as a specialist in application development (m/w/d) If you already bring the (special) university maturity, you can obtain the additional qualification as a specialist consultant for software techniques. As a specialist consultant, you will learn, in addition to all professional skills, the ability to advise and maintain customers

You gain knowledge of the design and implementation of customer-specific software applications and ensure the quality of software applications, basics of cyber security, process and automation systems, development of applications, programming languages, operating systems, network technology, business principles and more.

Theory and practical training changes in blocks: In the practical phases, you support colleagues in your field in day-to-day business and in exciting projects. You gradually take over your own tasks and get a lot of space for your own initiative. You will spend the theoretical phases at the training center of our long-term cooperation partner, Siemens Energy, and at the private vocational school ATIW. In Paderborn, you live together with your Azubi colleagues in residential communities and get the chance to stand on your own legs

Intermediate maturity, general university maturity, subject-bound university maturity or specialist university maturity Interest in IT and technology topics as well as commercial tasks Interest in the design and realization and testing of complex codes and programming tasks Flexibility and spatial mobility, especially during the theoretical phases Analytical thinking and mathematical-technical understanding Individual initiative, communication and team skills Very good German knowledge of Word & Writing
