Our MATERNUS SeniorenCentrum Barbara-Uttmann-Stift (in 08304 Schönheide) is located near the Czech border idyllic in the Erzgebirge at the Zwickauer Mulde in Schönheide. Here we take care of our 120 people in need of care in three living areas.

Your tasks:

• Support in the planning and implementation of the food plan taking into account dietary regulations, preferences and nutrient requirements of residents:
• Ordering food and other kitchen items, monitoring stock inventory and minimizing waste
• coordination of kitchen staff, including the division of working hours, training of new staff:inside and motivation of the team
• Ensure compliance with hygiene regulations, quality standards and legal provisions
• close cooperation with other departments, in particular the nursing staff, in order to understand and adequately meet the needs of residents
• Support for budget planning and monitoring and documentation of orders, stocks and other relevant information

Your profile:

• completed training for cook/to cook (w/m/d)
• relevant professional experience, preferably desirable in Community use
• safe handling of the current MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• high social competence, personal commitment and reliability
• Ability to work hand in hand with all areas of the facility
