In our 32-member team “Settlement Geno- und Zusammenarbeitsbanken” we accompany the settlement of securities transactions both for institutional customers, as well as for affiliated traders and their retail customers – efficiently, reliably and with a view to detail. We ensure that the transfer of ownership of securities – such as DZ Bank or Cooperative Banks – takes place precisely and on time. As a settlement specialist, you contribute to our customers being able to rely on a reliable and professional securities settlement at any time: Operational Responsibility: Settlement assignments for stock exchange, OTC, repo and loan transactions will focus on the exception handling. In doing so, you can control communication with storage points, counterparties and internal interfaces, clarify deviations and ensure a fault-free and timely execution. Delivery disposition: You actively monitor the supplyable stock in the securities sales and if automatic delivery releases are not possible, such as technical restrictions or time-critical orders. Emissions: As part of large-volume, syndicated new emissions, you are closely involved: Together with the team (and the customer) you prepare for the processing, tune operations and make sure that all process steps will run correctly. Maintain control data: You care about our central control tables and make sure You fit market and process reality at any time. For example, if cut-off times or delivery conditions change, you recognize the effects and adjust the relevant data base of our processes accordingly. Interface Management: You communicate with customers, contractors, warehouses and internal departments and take a central role in clarifying deviations or questions in the Settlement process. Further development: You are driving forward the optimization of existing processes – both within the department and within the framework of end-to-end consideration with external partners. You can also participate in cross-departmental projects and introduce your expertise there.
You have already gained experience in the financial market environment and know the basic processes of securities processing. Ideally, you have technical and methodological knowledge in the on- and off-exchange processing of securities transactions, supplemented by a good process understanding in this field. You bring good knowledge of the common warehouse systems, especially Cascade and Xact. If you already have SWIFT knowledge, this is an advantage for incorporation, but not a must. Whether oral or written – you speak fluent German (C1) and good English (B2). You can also work quietly and structured in stressful phases with high time pressure, keep an overview and contribute to maintaining the service times together. With risk-affected operations, you will be responsible and will not be insecure by large numbers or potential damage. You meet sound decisions, even if risks are in the game. Teamwork means more for you than just working together. You are proactive and support your colleagues where you need it. You always have an eye on the team and the constructive exchange to find solutions together and work together successfully.
