You take responsibility for the operation, administration and strategic development of IT networks and security components in our georedundant data centers – with leading solutions from Aruba Networks, Cisco and Checkpoint, Fortigate and Palo Alto Firewalls You strengthen a team of experienced network administrators, analyze technical requirements from projects, translate them into technical solutions and coordinate the implementation in close cooperation with the team, internal customers, manufacturers and service providers – thereby shaping Actively rebuild our network infrastructure You are in the team responsible for the administration of the network security environment, implement contemporary security concepts and create, update and maintain professional documentation to ensure knowledge transfer You optimize and automate network-related processes, establish uniform standards and use scripts as well as automation tools to eliminate repetitive tasks and continuously increase network infrastructure efficiency You analyse and troubleshoot network disruptions in cooperation with other IT areas, develop sustainable solutions and ensure the availability and quality of IT systems and support first and second level support in complex network issues and participate in a changing, additionally remunerated readiness to ensure the high availability of our critical infrastructure

You have completed an IT training or studies in the field of computer science/information technology and have already gained practical experience in network administration You are ideally familiar with switching technologies (e.g. Aruba Networks, Cisco) or firewall systems (e.g. Checkpoint, Fortigate, Palo Alto) – but do not have to master everything. More importantly, we want you to have something new and are willing to work into different network architectures – from classic 3-tier models to modern fabric and spine-leaf architectures Curiosity for modern concepts: whether BGP, EPP, VXLAN, ZTNA or other network protocols – you don't need to know all, but should be interested in looking beyond the plate edge and dealing with new technologies. We do not expect all-rounders, but people who like to learn You work with passion for the technical implementation of new concepts and ideas, continuously develop our IT infrastructure and strive for elegant, efficient solutions instead of complicated workarounds You are characterized by an independent, structured way of working and real team skills.
