Research Assistant for the Development of Test Optics (m/f/x)

For our customers, a World market leader in the metal and electrical industry we are looking for a Scientific employee for the development of test optics (m/w/x) for the Oberkochen location in Full time 40h:

Your tasks:

• Design and simulation of the most demanding optical systems for the production and qualification of high-performance optics for semiconductor lithography
• Close cooperation with other departments
• Meeting predictions about the optical performance of highly developed optical measurement setups based on complex simulations
• Development of the corresponding software tools and algorithms

Requirements:

• Successful completion in an MINT course, ideally with doctorate
• High mathematical/theoretical skills and ability to solve problems in the field of optimization and numerical
• Good programming knowledge, preferably in Python and MATLAB
• Developing experience in the team software using tools for version control
• Practical experience with Branch and Merge-based software development as the basis of a permanent review process (GIT, Azure) of advantage
• Own initiative, structurality and pragmatism
