Since 2017, our Taraxagum Lab Anklam has been exploring the cultivation and processing of Russian lion's tooth as an alternative natural rubber source for the tropical rubber tree. We plan to use the raw material in our series production to cover part of our natural rubber requirements with lion tooth rubber. As an employee of agronomy (m/w/divers), you can significantly support the achievement of this goal. Your tasks include: Support in coordinating the cultivation of lion tooth (short, medium and long term) according to the defined cultivation strategy Coordination and cooperation with external research partners to develop procedures, techniques and machines Close cooperation with the agricultural partner companies as part of a regular exchange of experience Implementing and ensuring data collection to derive ‘good agricultural practice’ Evaluation, documentation, evaluation and presentation of research results and cultivation experiences Consolidation and further development of cultivation experiences in cooperation with external research partners Support in the procurement of agricultural equipment, machinery and services Intensive monitoring of cultivation in various phases and locations Method development to assess the quality of cultivation and harvesting material Guidance, training and training of technical personnel

The ideal person (m/w/d) for this position should include: A university degree in agricultural sciences or in a closely related subject Proven experience in project management and cooperation with internal and external partners Solid foundations in agriculture or related sectors, with understanding for good agricultural practice and relevant regulations Knowledge of data acquisition, structuring and evaluation techniques Excellent mastery of the German language and very good English in word and writing Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills and communication skills readiness for domestic travel and possession of a valid driving licence The applications of disabled people are welcome.
