IT Officer - IT Infrastructure and Application Operations (m/f/d)

In this position, you actively shape our IT infrastructure and, together with the Group IT and our departments, create the conditions for reliable, secure and sustainable IT operation.

You take over the planning, administration and maintenance of the local IT infrastructure and, together with the operational IT, ensure reliable and demand-oriented operation. As a central interface to Group-wide IT, you agree to the requirements of the site and coordinate the implementation of joint solutions taking into account the corporate standards. Modern server, virtualization and network architectures continue to develop. Take into account different safety zones and protection requirements, including the requirements for IT environments for processing classified information (VS). Support and manage local software and application environments such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence, SAP as well as other systems used at the site. Changes, updates and operating requirements are coordinated with the departments, the Group IT and, where appropriate, external service providers. In close cooperation with the SiBe, the IT Security Officer and the Management Board, you implement the applicable information security requirements including the ISMI requirements and ensure their compliance in your area of responsibility. The development areas help you build, operate and use separate development and test networks. Together, you will implement suitable solutions for network separation, access rights and a regulated data exchange. Monitoring, patch management, data backup and recovery procedures are designed together with the operating IT and regularly check their effectiveness. The person responsible for the operating IT operation will guide you professionally. You set clear priorities, coordinate tasks and ensure structured workflows as well as a current and comprehensible system and operating documentation. Modernizations and IT projects plan and accompany you from the request to implementation. Investment needs, risks and technical possibilities are prepared as the basis for the management.

You have a degree in computer science, business informatics or an IT training course with corresponding professional experience. A comparable qualification is also welcome Multiannual practical experience in operation, administration and further development of corporate IT will bring you with you. You have well-founded knowledge of modern server, network, storage and virtualization technologies as well as the administration of Windows and Linux environments. Experience in the care and administration of local software and application environments such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence, SAP or comparable systems is part of your professional profile. You understand modern IT security and operating architectures and have experience with network segmentation, different security zones as well as identity and authorization concepts. The special requirements for IT environments with increased protection requirements, for example in the VS environment, are familiar to you. Knowledge in the development and operation of separate development networks as well as understanding the requirements of technical development areas. You can initiate operational IT professionally and work constructively with central IT functions, security managers and specialist areas. Complex technical facts provide you with understandable and addressable information. An independent, responsible and structured way of working is yours. You prioritize comprehensible, document carefully and pursue tasks reliably until completion. Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing complete your profile. French knowledge is advantageous.
