The Layout Planning team is a cross-sectional function of the raw construction planning and is responsible for the area planning of the new type planning projects of all Mercedes Benz car series at all production sites worldwide. We work with state of the art technologies and with international project partners throughout the world Mobile work is regularly used by us These tasks come to you: Further development and support of the CarF Layout Tools to support the global raw building layout planning Creation, maintenance and provision of layout cells and libraries for plant suppliers Support in building a digital area management system for building buildings and production facilities Development and optimization of digital planning tools for area and layout data Analysis, preparation and visualization of planning data in modern dashboards and databases Support in networking and synchronizing data between different planning systems (e.g. FAPLIS, DiFa, CarF Layout Tool) Cooperation in the development and introduction of AI-based solutions for raw and factory planning Creation of training documents, short videos and user assistance for digital planning tools Support for digitalization of planning processes and the introduction of new software solutions Working in international projects to develop layout planning and digital workplace The activity can begin from September 2026.

Studies of Engineering, Architecture, Computer Science or Comparative Experience abroad/intercultural experience Interest in intercultural cooperation Analytical and conceptual capability with digital competence Problem solving competence Good technical understanding and high affinity for our Mercedes-Benz products Advanced MS Office knowledge and knowledge of CAD software Bentley MicroStation Connect are of advantage German language skills Advanced knowledge of English required Motivation and enthusiasm for vehicle construction and for dynamic planning processes in the international environment Will to change and flexibility to contribute new processes and rapid changes Team skills Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate, giving the semester and proof of the regular study period.
