The Field Application Engineer (or sales engineer) markets complex, technical products and convinces customers with deep technical expertise and strong sales knowledge in the field of switchgear engineering. The FAE offers practical and individual solutions for our customers and helps in the planning of technical products such as low-voltage main distributions incl. Selection of suitable switching and protective devices such as circuit breakers. The FAE is in close coordination with account managers and customers.

Technical sales and link between ABB and customers' product solution (in the Nuremberg, Fürth, Würzburg, Erlangen, Bamberg, Schweinfurt, Ansbach, Kulmbach, Donauwörth, Coburg, etc. / Franken area) Technical advice, planning and support for ABB products and systems On-demand training at the local customer Conversion of competitive products to deliver offers Market monitoring for specific solutions in the field and corresponding support for the segments and product marketing in new and further developments

Master electrical engineering / technician / electrical or economic engineer Experience in sales Knowledge of electrical installation Very good German knowledge, basic knowledge English
