Number: MER0003XTX Within the Mercedes-Benz car development, our Center develops drivetrain systems in the vehicle from modern hybrid drives to the electric drives of the future. For the components as well as the systems, we ensure a continuous project responsibility from the first concepts of development to series introduction to the customer. In the Automatic & Hybrid Transmission (RD/ETA) department at Untertürkheim, we develop the dual clutch, converter automatic and hybrid transmission of the future Mercedes generations. Within the department we bundle all development activities from construction, testing to development project management. Our team is responsible for the design and project management for the complete transmission and individual components. With the focus on project management, system development and supplier management, we offer deep insights into the entire development process and in various technical topics. In this context, we offer an interesting internship with challenging tasks. These challenges include: Working with the analysis of complex technical questions and the design of technical solutions

Participation in comprehensive project management, especially in the coordination and preparation of presentation documents and project overviews

Optimization of processes & tools for project management

The mandatory practice can begin from March 2026.

Study programme in the field of mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable study programme

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Secure handling of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Commitment and team skills

Analytical thinking and strategic working

Technical understanding, ideally first experience in the environment drive
