Collaboration in system administration

As a member of the central system administration of one of the leading technical universities in Germany (TU9), You will manage, shape and develop a diverse server landscape. Energy-saving, virtualization, IT security and data protection as well as professional service management are important to us as a data center. You serve server-side applications in the area of building management and work significantly in improving the services. You agree with the specialist departments and implement them conceptually and technically.

You have completed university education (Bachelor) in computer science or a scientific discipline and ideally have already gained administrative experience. You communicate with our users in German in word and writing (level based on at least C1). You dominate several of these topics: Administration of servers on Windows and Linux Use of virtualization technologies such as Proxmox and Hyper-V Programming under Python, Java, Unix-Shells or PowerShells Using databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle-DB Basics of IT security technology Network technology Job applications from starters are welcome.
