GIS - Expert (m/f/d)

GASCADE is one of the largest operators of gas pipelines in Germany with a 3,700 kilometres long pipeline network. At the next possible time at the Kassel site, we are looking for an employee (m/w/d) as: Projektleiter (m/w/d)

You take over the collection, testing and maintenance of all project-relevant geo- and network data (topography, corridors, protected areas, management stocks, owner information etc.) in the GIS system and the processing of data from different sources (authorities, cataster offices, survey offices, internal databases) in the GIS system. You create overview maps, detail maps, thematic maps and location plans for planning teams, voting processes, PR and authorities and visualize trash planning, protected areas, restrictions and construction phases. The project-specific creation of documents for spatial planning, planning and approval procedures is taken over by you. The GIS-based analysis of affected properties and owners, including their documentation, as well as the creation and provision of building relevant plan documents, fall within your jurisdiction. The transmission of the planning data to the later management inventory is done by you.

You have training in the field of geoinformatics, geography, surveying or comparable qualifications, as well as several years of experience in the field of geodata management. In addition to experience with GIS and/or CAD systems, you will ideally have knowledge of supporting infrastructure projects in the supply industry. Analytical thinking, problem-solving competence and good communication skills in word and writing belong to your strengths. You are characterized by a self-sponsored working and at the same time enjoy working in the interdisciplinary team. In addition, you bring interest and motivation to develop innovative solutions and integrate new technologies.
