Road Maintenance / Civil Engineering Specialist (m/f/d)

You work in the team to maintain and develop urban infrastructure and ensure that traffic areas remain safe and functional. Reading and implementing construction and service plans Elimination of accident hazards, inter alia by improving percussion holes with modern asphalt construction, as well as setting up shut-offs and safety devices design of paths and traffic areas through the laying of concrete and natural stone pavement stones and slabs, the setting of bricks and the mounting of slabs Implementation of groundwork and active participation in road construction and entertainment activities Operation of construction machines such as rollers, wheel loaders or excavators – depending on the qualification and application area During your incorporation, you will work with street entertainment in various columns of the directing operation. The goal is a long-term assignment to a fixed column, with which you will jointly implement diverse projects in the city area of Heidelberg.

We are looking for personalities who combine their craft skills with team spirit and take responsibility for security in public space. Successfully completed three-year training in road or civil engineering, in (steel) construction, in masonry or comparable artisanal training Basic knowledge in general road and civil engineering Class B valid driving permit, ideally also class BE Teamability, independent working and a strong quality awareness Willingness to participate in winter service, flood and call readiness – of course with additional remuneration
