Department Manager Facility Infrastructure (m/f/d)

You guide the Facility Infrastructure area and make sure that our buildings and properties at the Herzogenrath site are optimally shot. You guide our Facility Infrastructure team professionally and disciplinefully and coordinate cooperation with external service providers. Together with your team, you will create clear performance descriptions and alerts – and guarantee a top quality with our soft services (e.g. cleaning, disposal, outdoor plant care). You plan and organize maintenance and maintenance measures for our building infrastructure. You are responsible for the physical safety and closing management of our properties and actively supporting fire protection. You take the area and office planning and care for functional, modern working environments. At audits, you are the competent contact person for your area of responsibility and are constantly driving process improvements. Budget planning, commercial execution and keeping targets are in your hands. Thanks to you and your team, internal users experience a smooth infrastructure and high service satisfaction.

You have a completed technical or commercial study in the field of facility management, business management, real estate management or in a related field. Alternatively, you will bring a completed vocational training with relevant training. You have several years of experience in facility management, building management or in a comparable position – ideally with proven responsibility for infrastructure and team management. You are safe in handling building equipment and in organizing maintenance and maintenance. Ideally, you have knowledge of fire protection and safety technology. You are trained in managing projects, setting clear priorities and achieving targets reliably. You communicate confidently, structured and convincing – both internally and with external partners. Personally you convince by hand-on mentality, result orientation and a pronounced affinity for process improvements. You have very good German skills and good to very good English skills for work in an international environment.
