Your tasks Implementation of maintenance measures for freight wagons, components and systems according to ECM-IV Conduct of inspections and technical investigations on freight wagons according to VDV document 758 Detection, assessment, marking and documentation of defects and damage Independent fault diagnosis and troubleshooting directly on site Execution of brake samples and functional testing of compressed air brake systems Creation and maintenance of necessary documentation in the intended systems Preparation and support of train and maneuvering (supply, stop brakes, check car lists) Ensuring compliance with safety and quality requirements in all work Mobile applications directly at the customer in the SW, West and Central Germany area

Your profile Complete technical vocational training (e.g. mechatronics, industrial mechanic, motor vehicle engineer, car master) or comparable qualification Experience in the maintenance of rail vehicles or comparable systems Knowledge of valid maintenance regulations, ECM-IV guidelines and safety requirements Good knowledge of vehicle technology, braking systems, wheel sets, electrical components and mechanical assemblies Compulsory training required: completed training “Working in the track area” Good knowledge of German in word and writing (at least B2, ideal C1) Willingness to change-shift service, incl. night, Sunday and holiday work Travel readiness and flexibility for mobile service applications Independent, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation
