As department manager Backoffice Ticketing, you are developing our innovative and modular backend payment systems with your international teams, shaping the future of the department significantly and delivering customer-specific systems to traffic companies worldwide. With your know-how and your view for the whole, you make sure that our solutions meet the high requirements of our customers – today and in the future. From the Karlsruhe location, you drive forward the strategic development of the overall system and processes in the field of backoffice ticketing, have current technological developments in the field of complex software systems and in the industry in mind, identify potentials and develop concepts or concepts. Measures to integrate them into our product portfolio Your tasks include the definition of the technical roadmap according to the company's objectives and the further development of the development methods for increasing efficiency Together with your expertise, you can promote agile transformation in a project-driven environment and create new technological orientations (e.g. the expansion of cloud-based systems) You are the main contact partner for all the team management of the department and its employees. You are also the first contact point for the management of operational and strategic issues in the field of expertise In person, you are responsible for eight development teams (fively at the Karlsruhe headquarters, two in Maynooth/Irland and a team in Seattle/USA) with about 90 employees, conducts personnel talks and conducts in close cooperation with the team management on personnel decisions and development, budget and capacity planning and technical equipment related to hardware and software In technical direction, you will ensure interdisciplinary cooperation within and outside the department, the transfer of know-how between the different locations and control or monitor the course and the timely fulfilment of project objectives

A completed technical study (e.g. computer science) and multiannual experience in software development (.NET) as well as sound knowledge in modern software architectures, DevOps and cloud technologies Insufficient leadership experience as department/department management (or in a comparable position) as well as experience in the planning, coordination and control of software development projects Experience in sales, ticketing and payment processes is desirable.
