The sales area includes Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and parts of Lower Saxony and Brandenburg. With Group sales of 3.0 billion Euro in 2017 will continue to strengthen the leading role of local suppliers. The supply of retail is made from the three logistics centers Neumünster, Malchow and cigar. EDEKA Nord guarantees “Fresh for the North” with its own production facilities for meat and sausage products and baked goods.

The self-employed EDEKA buyers are characterized by a selection mix of brands, brands and regional products tailored to customer needs on site. You stand for food quality and enjoyment. EDEKA Nord is one of the largest employers in the north with around 5,600 employees and is more than 1,400 young people in the wholesale and retail sector and in the production companies. For the EDEKA Nord Service- und Logistikgesellschaft mbH at the Lüttow-Valluhn site, we are looking for full-time goods receipt controller (m/w/d) at the next possible time.

You assign discharge points and supervise the unloading of the trucks Acceptance and control of the goods on quantity, quality and minimum durability date (MHD) in accordance with EDEKA Quality Assurance Guide quality testing, in particular in the fruit & vegetables sector, using appropriate testing instruments Ordinary marking of the goods to ensure the further flow of goods Acknowledgment of freight documents and formal acquisition of goods Control of the packing schemes (e.g. on supernatants or chimney formation) and the load carriers to comply with common standards (EPAL, GS1 etc.) Documentation of deviations and notification of defects to the specialist supervisors Compliance with cleanliness and order (HACCP requirements) and safety regulations

Successfully completed vocational training Multiannual professional experience in the field of warehouse / logistics Extensive knowledge of products in the ranges of fine food and fruit & vegetables Experience in handling test instruments for quality assurance Good computer skills (especially SAP, WAMAS and MS Word and Excel) Permission for guiding industrial trucks (stacker certificate) Willingness to work in the shift system and on weekends and holidays Communication strength, a sense of decision and a careful and independent way of working Teamability, reliability and physical loadability
