In the dm group, our team with technology expertise designes the area around the digitalization of the dm market. Together with the dm areas and our markets, we develop intuitive applications and establish state-of-the-art technologies. We understand data as our DNA and transport this self-understanding in the dm group. For the further development of our extensive system landscape in the field of robotics & sensor technology as well as our newly created cloud services, we are looking for an open-minded and targeted personality that supports us in this topic and wants to actively participate in the design.

You are responsible for the further development of our modern multi-cloud infrastructure of the team in the context of Data Engineering, preferably on the Google Cloud Platform Working closely with different stakeholders, helping to identify and evaluate cloud solutions for typical data engineering applications and accompanying the implementation of these digital innovations As a Senior Solution Architect, you are a pioneer in data engineering, designing and implementing innovative data and cloud architectures as well as security concepts. Actively bring your strategic and technical vision Together with your cross-functional team, you proactively promote the further development of project and architecture standards

Completed studies in computer science, mathematics, engineering or natural sciences or a comparable qualification Long-standing expertise with data architectures (big data, analytics technologies, data mesh and data products) Deep understanding of cloud architectures (probably experience with Google Cloud Platform) Practical experience with Data Engineering, ideally with Python, Kafka, Terraform / OpenTofu and automated Deploy Pipelines Ideally experience with the IT security of operating data products (RBAC, Monitoring & Alerting, automated dependency management) Excellent self-initiative, high self-responsibility and very good communication skills in German (min. B2/C1) and ideally English, complemented by strong team skills
