General Ledger Accountant

Ensuring correct financial accounting according to local accounting standards Implementation of the monthly accounts and preparation of financial and legal reports Voting balance sheet accounts and ensuring readiness to audit Support for internal and external audits Management of payroll reporting and payments Ensuring compliance with local tax, VAT, social security and customs regulations Support for tax returns and response to requests from local authorities Care and development of internal control systems to comply with corporate guidelines monitoring and forecasting of cash flow; Maintaining banking relations and transactions Support for Intercompany billing, voting and billing Coordination with group companies for a timely and correct booking Management of employee fees according to company guidelines Financial support for cross-functional teams (HR, supply chain, sales) Identification and implementation of process optimizations and automation possibilities Cooperation on financial-related projects and system implementations Conducting ad hoc-related finance tasks as required

Graduate in Accounting, Finance or a related area Multiannual experience in a comparable accounting position Knowledge of local accounting and tax rules Embossed interpersonal skills and communication strength Ability to work collaboratively both independently and in the matrix environment Adaptable, detailed and structured in implementation Proactive, motivated and with a “Continuous Improvement” mentality Secure handling of MS Office (especially Excel); Experience with accounting software of advantage Flowing knowledge of the national language as well as English on business level
