The research impulse “Shaping Future Society (SaFe): The Mutual Constitution of Future-Oriented Practices and Community” is a research project funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) at Fulda University. The research impulse (SaFe) investigates how people with future-oriented practices react to crises of the present and initiate processes of communion.

In the first phase of the project, alternative practices of nutrition in various forms of communion are investigated by means of qualitative methods.

In the next step, a representative survey of the population in Germany is to be conceived, planned, carried out, analyzed and evaluated as part of a doctorate. It should be examined how alternative Community-organized nutritional practices can be socially connected, are accepted by various social environments and what integration possibilities exist in predominant mark structures.

Your main tasks:

› qualitatively analyse and evaluate alternative Community organized nutrition practices

› research and work in literature on quantitative studies in the field of research

› design, plan, perform, analyze and evaluate a quantitative, representative survey in German

› perform administrative tasks (e.g. ethic application, writing procedures for surveying, research data management)

› Editing a doctoral project

› presenting research results at (international) conferences

› publish research results in German and English

Your profile:

› completed university studies (master degree or equivalent university degree) of the social sciences, oecotrophology or a comparable discipline

› (very) good knowledge or Experience in dealing with quantitative, standardized surveys or Surveys, statistical programs (e.g. SPSS, R) and multivariate analysis procedures (e.g. regression, factor or Cluster analysis

› Knowledge and experience in qualitative interview management and evaluation (e.g. MAXQDA)

› very good German knowledge

› High motivation, resilience and strong interest in interdisciplinary research and team work
