SME (Association for city-part-related educational aids) is a youth supporter located on the edge of the Hamburg Schanzenviertel. We carry out stationary and outpatient education aids (§30, 31, 32, 34 and 35 SGB VIII) under one roof. Our offer is aimed primarily at children, young people and families from the districts of Mitte, Altona and Eimsbüttel. Participation, resource orientation and appreciation of the representatives are important educational guides for us. SME carries out a variety of projects with other institutions and bodies, in particular at the interface of youth assistance and family support, school and employment. It is important to us to develop the conceptual development of aid for education and the creation of new offers.

In flexible support we support and support people between 16 and 21 years of age in their own housing. With around 30 youth apartments in the districts of Altona, Mitte and Eimsbüttel we offer space for a total of 42 young people. It is a holistic individual case aid, which accompanies people with a need-oriented approach to everyday life and the transition to an independent life management. The offer is meaningfully complemented by social group offers.

Your tasks:

• Individual care People and a professional relationship design with young people and participation in their personality development
• Group educational offers
• Daily accommodation in the owner's living room in St. Pauli, Eimsbüttel, Schanze, Altona
• Accompaniment in all areas of people
• Cooperation with all those involved in the education process and in the social area
• Crisis intervention and readiness to call

Your profile:

• Complete study of social education (Bachelor/Master/Diplom) or comparable qualification
• Professional experience in youth assistance
• Ready to develop professionally and personally
• Knowledge and experience in group work
• High social and communicative competence as well as pleasure in work in the team
• Willingness to develop the help for education
• Own initiative, resilience and flexibility
