Our goal is to provide innovative products, the highest quality and efficient development processes that ensure the technology leadership of Mercedes-Benz. The “UX Modules & Systems” department develops innovative operating and interaction components for the passenger car portfolio. In the “Lenkrad Module” team, we are responsible for the electronic sizes in the steering wheel, including innovative operating concepts, sensor technology for detecting the driver behavior and the control of the steering wheel heating. We work interdisciplinary with the areas of interior, driver assistance and automated driving, user interaction and infotainment, taking into account high safety, security and quality standards. In the planning, execution, evaluation and documentation of tests on electronic and mechatronic steering wheel modules,

You support the development and maintenance of test cases, test scripts as well as release and quality documentation

You’re puggling content in our software quality management system and supporting the team in quality-relevant activities in the development process

You prepare technical project workshops, document results and support in tracking open points

You support the vision and testing of CAD data, technical drawings and installation space tests for steering wheel components

You develop smaller programs, scripts or automations to evaluate test data, report generation or increase efficiency in everyday work

You use modern AI tools and test their applications, such as analysis of technical data and documents, knowledge preparation and support for development and automation tasks - and note the applicable data protection, security and quality requirements

Studies in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, information technology, computer science, mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, economic engineering or a comparable technical course

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of Microsoft Office as well as pleasure in structured technical content

Technical understanding, analytical thinking, self-initiative and strong team and communication skills

Basic knowledge of at least one programming or script language, for example Python, MATLAB, C/C++, C# or JavaScript, are desirable
