You will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our managed Kubernete product, which serves both internal IONOS teams and external customers. This position requires extensive experience with the Kubernetes architecture and a strong focus on the operational aspects that are oriented towards the CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) principles. Tasks Design, development and maintenance of cloud-native applications in Golang (Kubernetes Operators, REST APIs, Libraries). Design and implementation of new functions to improve our managed-cleannetes offer. Participation in the further development of our service architecture and infrastructure as code procedures. Development and maintenance of the complete DevOps toolchain (Helm Charts, GitHub Actions, GitOps workflows). Creation and maintenance of Kubernetes operators, controllers and custom resource definitions (CRDs). implementing monitoring, alarm and observation solutions for Kubernetes workloads; Cooperation with cross-functional teams to improve the reliability and performance of the platform. Qualifications At least 5 years of practical experience in working with Kubernetes in production environments. the development of Golang with a track record in providing production-oriented code; Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) or private cloud infrastructures. deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, API resources and extension patterns; Knowledge in handling helmet and other Kubernetes package management tools. experience in designing and implementing Kubernetes operators and controllers; Expertise in the fields of container orchestration, networks and security principles. Experience with Observability Stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, etc.) for monitoring and troubleshooting. Advanced knowledge of Linux system administration; good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows. Nice to have: Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS). Experience with infrastructure automation tools (terraform, ansible). Experience with multi-cluster and multi-tenant-copper architectures. Contributions to Open Source Column Ecosystem Projects.
