Your profile:

Complete vocational training in a medical profession, e.g. health care and nursing, or medical documentation assistance, if necessary with completed further training for clinical coding specialist

Multiannual professional experience; ideally multiannual experience in DRG coding, preferably in surgical subjects and/or in the management of MD test procedures Very good knowledge of the regulations of the DRG system (ICD, OPS, DKR) and in medical terminology Very good knowledge of billing regulations according to casebooking regulations Experience in the processing of audit requests by health insurance companies or in the context of the statutory audit procedure according to §275c SGB V Good IT user knowledge, ideally with the ORBIS Clinic Information System Communication and team skills

Your tasks:

Complete and correct DRG coding of medical services and case release for billing

Review of medical documentation regarding completeness and plausibility Close cooperation with the medical service and care service Support for clinical areas in case-accompanying coding Optional: Examination, evaluation and clarification of complaints of cost-beneficiaries and/or MD, including in case meetings
