We mean innovative products with the highest quality and efficient development processes. We are already working on vehicles that will secure the technology leadership of Mercedes-Benz in the future. With the development of the operating components for our passenger car portfolio, the Controls, Ambient Light & Safety Electronics department makes an important contribution to the luxury experience in our vehicles. The bandwidth ranges from simple individual switches to complex networked operating fields with integrated displays and sensory concept. Specifically, we are looking for reinforcement for our team 'Driver Controls'. The team is responsible for all electronic sizes in the area of the steering wheel. The bandwidth includes various sensor systems for detecting the driver behavior, controlling the steering wheel heating and, as a center of gravity, the operating elements in the area of the steering wheel. Development is closely linked and interdisciplinary with our partner areas Interior, driver assistance/autonomous driving, user interaction and infotainment. We meet the highest safety, security and quality standards. These challenges include: You support the analysis of the errors reported in the various test instances You support the documentation and maintenance of our software quality management system You will be qualified for testing our modules according to our test concept You support the maintenance of release documentation You support the coordination of project workshops to coordinate technical requirements You support the development and documentation of new tests The activity can start from Jan 2026.

Study programme Electronics/Electronics, Mechatronics, Information Technology, or Industrial Engineering Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office Commitment and team skills Knowledge of agile tools (JIRA, Confluence etc.) desirable Knowledge of quality management and ASPICE desirable
