Carpenter (m/f/d)

The Berufsförderungswerk Dresden, a non-profit company, is the carrier of a supra-regional center of occupational rehabilitation according to § 51 SGB IX with the aim of allowing workers who can no longer pursue their previous profession for health reasons to participate in the working life by a new professional qualification.

In order to support the Service/Object Management team, we would like to begin with a deadline for two years after TzBfG with option of determination, the following point:

**Housemaster (m/w/d) with a professional profile as a carpenter or wood mechanic with a regular weekly working hours of 40 hours.

Working time is provided in shiftwork, distributed by Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 20:00, (Friday 18:00), including readiness once a month. The schedule will be created in advance for a month.

Your tasks:

Maintenance of the operability and value of the buildings, the facility, other facilities and the external installations as a precondition for a smooth operation of the entire enterprise according to economic standards and ensuring order and safety in the object. A specialist is expected for:

• Acquisition of maintenance, maintenance and repair work within the scope of the completed tasks
• cooperation in securing the order, cleanliness and safety in the context of transport and operational safety in the objects and external installations (housemaster services)
• regular control of buildings, external installations and technical facilities; Compliance with safety rules
• Waiting and repairing (in the case of minor damages) of the entire domestic engineering and facilities, if legally permissible
• professional use of woodworking technology in compliance with the safety regulations and professional guidance of the team members in furniture and construction work in the furnishings
• Conducting function checks and security checks.
• Instruction and monitoring of service companies with subsequent withdrawal of services.

Your profile

• Professional qualification as a wood mechanic
• Handicraft skill
• Health suitability for physically demanding activities
• Class B driving licence
• Self-functioning, reliability, readiness to use, team skills and a friendly, safe occurrence
