Technical Writer Documentation (m/f/d)

You are responsible for creating and updating documentation – from repair instructions and installation guidelines to fault diagnostic manuals, spare parts catalogs, HTML help pages, customer service information and multimedia tools. You undertake the research and evaluation of the necessary information and develop structures, texts and graphics. In addition, you agree closely with the specialist departments to ensure professional accuracy and practicality. The event tracking, as well as the initiation, accompanying and archiving of the release process are also within your task, as are the implementation of the documentation guidelines. You support the content of the webshop, in particular for graphics for Clickable Drawings, as well as the maintenance and control of graphics and lists, taking into account the change management. In addition, you coordinate translation orders and ensure their quality, including terminology examination with native speakers. You support the further development of the worldwide publication platforms and coordinate content and user permissions with the specialist departments. Last but not least, you take over the coordination of document steering and demonstration.

You have successfully completed your studies in the field of technical editorial, engineering or a comparable discipline. Alternatively, you have a technical or editorial training with appropriate training. You have experience in creating technical documentation. You possess secure knowledge in editorial and CMS systems as well as in document steering and demonstration. You have knowledge of graphic creation and the necessary software Ideally, you bring experience in the coordination of translation projects and terminology management. You are characterized by a structured, careful and independent way of working and good technical understanding. In addition, you can convince by communication strength and team capacity in exchange with different specialist departments. We require very good knowledge of German and English.
