With around 49,000 employees, the customs administration is a steadily growing and very versatile administration under the umbrella of the Federal Ministry of Finance. As a modern tax and economic administration, we generate about half of the taxes flowing to the federal government, but also combat customs criminality within the framework of law enforcement. The Customs Administration shall include the General Customs Directorate as head office in Bonn and other offices, as well as 41 main customs offices and 8 customs offices, which shall perform in particular the operational tasks of the Customs Administration.

Processing of safety-related fundamental issues of the electrical equipment of use vehicles with a focus on operational safety regulations Creation of technical performance descriptions and participation in the testing, planning and design of electrical equipment and the operation of utility vehicles national support of the departments for individual questions and the necessary agreements with the manufacturers and extenders in the Federal Republic of Germany, including the quality assessment Creation and updating of test instructions Selection and acceptance of plants and equipment performing the tasks of an electric expert with the determination of the nature and scope of the tests to be carried out, as well as monitoring compliance with the safety rules in operation including: Preparation of training documents and handling instructions Assessment of hazards and development of appropriate safety concepts Participation in the creation of equipment concepts Cooperation in bodies, committees and working and project groups Participation in further procurement measures for customs in the field of mobility

We expect that from you: Successful Bachelor or Diploma degree in one of the following courses: Energy and Plant Engineering Electrical engineering Electrical engineering

or a comparable field of qualification for electrical power according to DIN VDE 1000-10 or the ability to train the senior technical service and fulfil the conditions for the transfer to customs administration and you are an official of the grade A10/A11 Very good German language skills (C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference) The existence of a valid driving licence of class 3 or B. The readiness to carry out a safety review shall be provided.
